Always be sure to check your sling for rips, torn seams, or damage of any sort before using. If you do find something wrong with it, do not use it as it could result in harm to your child if he/she were to fall.
Always use caution when trying new positions. Until you are sure that the hold is secure it is a good idea to support your baby with at least one hand. Some positions may require extra support, but most can be worn hands-free. Check your baby and the sling often to make sure that he/she has not slipped or wiggled from a secure position.
Using the sling while cooking or tending to a fire can be very dangerous. This puts your baby at a level where he/she can be burned. The fabric is not fire retardent and will not protect your baby from burns in the event of a fire.
Do not use the sling as a blanket or otherwise leave your baby unattended with the sling. Your baby could become entangled in the sling and suffer harm.
Your sling is not intended to replace any safety devices required by law such as car/bicycle seats and will not protect your child from injury in the event of an accident.
Use your sling with great care. Responsibility for the safety of your baby is held by the person using the sling and not Parmeter Creations.
